Top 7 Must-Have Car and Watch Pairings for 2016

What better way to show off the two loves of your life than by pairing your gorgeous supercar with an equally stunning watch? Coming to you from that one percent of the population that can afford practically anything, here is a list of our favourite watch and car pairings.

Omega and Aston Martin DB10 (Pictured Above)

If you know anything about James Bond, you’ll know he absolutely loves his Omegas…and his Aston Martins. Bond’s love for Omegas began back in 1995 in Goldeneye with the Seamaster Diver 300M, featuring an exclusive blue dial. A more modern model of the Seamaster is also seen in 007’s latest film, Spectre, which also just so happens to also feature the stunning Aston martin DB10. A gorgeous watch, sleek car and (let’s face it) sexy man makes for a triple-threat – and we love it.

Bremont and Jaguar E-Type

Image2BremontandJaguar-editBack in March of 1961, the Jaguar E-Type made its world debut in Geneva, its claim to fame being that it would be the “fastest production car in the world”. This resulted in almost 500 orders being placed for the E-Type during the show. Last year, Jaguar built six E-Types after the classic 1961 model. Bremont, a British watchmaker, wanted to celebrate Jaguar’s racing history by making a watch dedicated to the E-Type and so the MKI, MKII and MKIII were born. It’s no wonder why these spectacular watches made this list when it celebrates one of the most iconic race cars of its time.

Patek Philipe and Rolls Royce Phantom

Image3PatekPhillipeandRollsRoyceWhile these two companies do not have any history together, we still believe they go hand-in-hand simply because of how badass they are. Patel Philippe watches are truly the Rolls Royce of the watch world. Take this drool-worthy white gold men’s watch, which displays 24 different time zones from around the world…Perfect for the multi-million dollar traveller! Plus, what better way to ride in style than in this baller Rolls Royce Phantom Drophead Coupe? It’s a match made in rich-people heaven, where fountains spew liquid gold and fancy salads are topped with glistening diamond croutons.

Hublot and LaFerrari

Image4FerrariHublotwatchFerrari and Hublot’s official partnership was announced at the 2011 Ferrari World Finals at Mugello which would officially begin in January of 2012. This would make Hublot Ferrari’s new official watchmaker. So far, they have released two collections: the “Big Bang Ferrari” collection, available in titanium and gold version, was released in 2013 and of course, the Ferrari LaFerrari-inspired collection. The latter is a watch that costs over $300,000…so it’s no wonder why we paired these two together! After all, if you can afford a $1.5 million LaFerrari car, you can definitely cough up some change for the supercar-inspired watch as well.

Tag Heuer and Porsche 911

Image5TagHeuerPorschePairing Tag Heuer watches with Porsche was a no-brainer. His famous Tag Heuer Monaco 1133B Caliber 11 Automatic watch became a classic icon in 1970, when he wore it during filming the Le Mans movie, which also featured McQueen driving a 1970s Porsche 911S. McQueen also owned several sophisticated motorcycles and cars, including a Porsche 917, 908, and 356 Speedster. McQueen’s 911S was sold by RM Auctions (http://www.rmsothebys.com/lots/lot.cfm?lot_id=1057342) in 2011 and sold for an impressive $1.4 million. It’s no wonder that, in 2005, Tag Heuer released a limited edition “Monaco Vintage” watch, which celebrates McQueen’s 75th birthday had he not died in 1980 at the young age of 50.

Parmigiani Fleurier and Bugatti Chiron

Image6BugattiParmigianFleurierThe Swiss watchmaker has been working with Bugatti since 2006, when they announced the Bugatti 370, a driving watch modelled after the Bugatti Veyron. The 370 was built to be worn while driving – even the watch’s face is vertical in order for the driver to look down at his or her wrist and immediately know the time without lifting their hand off the wheel. Most recently, Parmigiani Fleurier released the PF-390 Concept, a watch inspired by the incredible Bugatti Chiron which can attain an incredible speed of 290 mph. These two are the perfect match.

Breitling and Bentley Mulsanne

Image7BentleyBreitlingBreitling and Bentley Motors partnered up back in 2003 and have since then created many watches embodied with the sophistication and class that comes with every Bentley vehicle. The Mulsanne Extended Wheelbase is everything a rich businessman or woman would ever want and need to go from point A to B and everything in between. When you can afford this car plus a driver, getting a Breitling watch just comes naturally and what better watch to choose then this sexy Breitling Bentley B06 in red gold.
