Default Anyone Interested In a Discounted Business Class Flight via United/Star Alliance

    All,

I have an odd question/proposition if anyone is interested. Just FYI, I am located in Houston.

I currently have 125,000 United miles that I am looking to sell since I am not planning to traveling internationally any time soon. If anyone is interested, I will book a flight in your name using my miles through reward travel in exchange for a certain level of compensation. I've done this once before in the past on Reddit and paypal seemed to work well as long as it's a gift payment. If you are local in Houston, we could also meet at a coffee shop and do the exchange in person. To me this, would be preferred since the dollar value is quite significant.

    I only have two criteria:

    1) I am only looking to redeem flights for international business class fair via a saver rate flight. I am only open to redeeming via this method because it maximizes my value per mile.
    2) With the amount of miles that I currently have, this would be enough to redeem a round trip saver rate flight to Europe, Asia Pacific/Japan and South America. I think the trip to South America is a bit cheaper in relation to miles so there may be a slight price adjustment.

I am setting the price at $3,500 for the price of this ticket. For those of you who have purchased business class tickets in the past, you would be lucky to find a flight for less than $5,000 round trip to the EU. APJ is probably a little higher at $6k+.

If interested, please let me know. You can use the following link to browse flights after checking "Search For Award Travel" but as I stated earlier, I am only interested in redeeming for international saver rate business class.

Good luck... The going rate for UA miles is .014-.016, which means anyone could buy those miles on the open market for $1,750-$2,000 and book the flight themselves on their own schedule.

With all due respect, that is not accurate. Please show me where you can find files for 1.6 cents each and I will adjust my price accordingly.

UA points go for 1.4, and Chase UR points go for 1.45 and can be transferred into a UA account. I know many points and mileage brokers if you're seriously looking to buy or sell.

Show me where you are finding that deal. Until then, I don't appreciate you posting in this thread because you are driving away people that may be interested in purchasing miles based on an unsupported assumption.

Again, I will drop the price if you can provide proof but I'm on the United site right now and 125,000 points would cost you $4,375 out of pocket.

All due respect, but I'm trying to protect members of this forum from getting screwed.

Post on that page that you're looking for miles and you'll get a dozen PMs within 10 minutes offering them at 1.4. I travel regularly in F and J and have no interest in making this up.
