I second that. Stay at the Venetian, tip the guys well, buy-in large and get the pit boss's attention. After you get his attention, kindly request for a table reservation at Tao. If you are a hotel guest, you get put on a seperate list (trust me, the line is no joke). But make reservations ahead of time as Tao is one of the most popular clubs in Vegas. I would tell you to party on the strip, but its getting crazier and crazier as the years go by. G'luck out there.

    Default Vegas For New Years

So I did a Week in Vegas last month and out of all the places we hit the MOST FUN HAD TO BE PLANET HOLLYWOOD!!! I'm not sure what to do the night of New Years Eve! But make sure you spend some time at Planet Hollywood!

And Call Mr. Murry 702-301-7500 for a personal Limo Driver!!!
--AWESOME!!! I RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE IN THE VEGAS AREA!!!

And if anyone has done Miami for new years let me know whats up! We fly out on the 30th!!!

Thanks for all the info again. We are basically debating between Vegas or Miami at the moment.

Just trying to make up our minds.....

Tao = waaaay overrated. Tao is also very well known for having "filler" girls working the bar/dance floor/everywhere a guy might be. Girls that are paid to just be there. Sit at your table, make you feel special, blah blah blah...my ex was a go-go dancer and she was on their list for nights (usually the weekends) to just show up and party. That's why you don't meet a lot of locals at places that do that.

And the lines are ridiculous no matter where you go. Also, some (actually most) of the larger casinos won't let you in their hotel unless you're actually staying at their hotel. You can imagine all the people rushing in off of the strip to spend some cash or find a place to pass out.

Pure is always a good bet and so is Tryst. If you really want to indulge in the whole LV NY's experience head over to one of the after-hours clubs when things are winding down.

Dre's is where you'd want to finally end up. It's in the Barbary Coast, on the strip, but don't judge a book by it's cover. Three years ago we didn't walk out of there till 11am. They know how to throw a good party.

have fun. A New Years in LV is a must!!

Last year we had an amazing time in NYC. This year we decided on Vegas.

We definitely want to get a table with bottle service (4 of us). I have been checking on some prices and they are about $2000 min to start for table on New Years Eve.

Did anyone go last year for the new years eve parties there ? Any Recommendations ?

Recommendations for Hotels are welcome as well.

Need some advice from the great L4P members.

    Thanks.

P.S. We are all traveling from Toronto by the way.

Might see you around...I'll be in Las Vegas for New Years as well!
