Hi ya'll! I have a maybe somewhat weird question. Next year I will hand in my current car for a Jaguar
I-pace. (I know it's not a lamborghini but I wanted something sporty but also usable as a daily driver)
To do something out of the box, I had the idea to wrap the car in shiny gold with a matte black design. I personally think it's very cool, but people to whom I have presented the idea say that the car will be damaged in no time. The car will be placed in a regular street so it is not as protected as in a garage.
Is such a gold wrap indeed a bad idea? I understand that this differs per neighborhood and situation, but I am curious about different opinions on whether or not this would be a good plan.
