Where can I see a BMW M1 in motion?

I've been lucky enough to see 4 BMW M1s (including a Procar), one of my all time favorite cars. They were all on static display though, and I am aching to see some in motion. I read somewhere that someone rode in one at Mid-Ohio Raceway. Are there any that are seen regularly on the roads, or at vintage car races? I would be willing to travel to see this. Thank you very much for your time!

In America? Probably nowhere

I've actually seen five of them in the US, but they were all on static display.

Last time I was at Canepa Design (Los Gatos, CA) they had a couple in their workshop. Cozy up with one of the sales reps and you may get lucky enough to ride shotgun in one. Even if you don't get that far it's absolutely worth the trip to see one of the most impressive car collections in North America.
I saw a couple in the vintage race M1s down in Sebring at the 12 Hours. Unfortunately they broke and I didn't see them out...its really hit or miss, but Sebring on the 12 hours weekend is a good start on your quest.
There is a red one that drives through Rancho Palos Verdes, CA every so often that I see.
Sebring is something I will have to check out. And Canepa's collection is definitely something I want to see.
