I am using my MSI GT683R for portability:
i7 2630 QM
GTX 560M-1.5Gb DDR5 videocard
Full HD 15.6'' screen
Ram: 16gb DDR3

My home set-up is a few years old so its only a quad core, it used to be the best you could buy 4 years ago..:( Watercooled and all and now my laptop completly obliterates its performance.

I have quite a few.

My server is being built but it has an Asus server grade P7F-M motherboard with an i3 and 16gb of ddr3 as well as 6 3tb hard drivers.

My editing computer which I am on right now, I use when doing anything creative, is an EVGA 750i SLI FTW motherboard, Q9560 2.77Ghz 8gb ddr2, tow 1gb GTS-250 video card, and 3 320gb hard drives in raid 0.

My next desktop, which I am building now, is an Asus P8Z68 Deluxe with 16gb of Corsair Vengance memory, a revo drive 1tb PCIe hard drive, AMD 6990 Video card, watercooling the 2600k i7 to 4.7ghz, and it's almost done! It's going to dual boot OSX and Windows 7.

My HTPC in the living room is an Asus (can't think of the model) with a dual core AMD, 4gb of ddr2 and two 1.5tb hard drives. It runs XBMC, but I need a bigger TV.

I have an old Dell that I am rebuilding for when I get a garage to run all my CNC and such.

I also have an HP laptop 17" from 2008 running a dual core and 2gb of memory. Nothing special but it's a great mobile platform with two 500gb hard drives in a mirrored raid for backup protection. It's been pulled apart and completely rebuilt.

Also, I have about 6 or 7 old P4 computers people have given me I use as test servers or to mess about with Linux or to give to people to mess around with.

i5 quad core 3.2ghz, 8GB of DDR3 RAM, EVGA Nvidia GTX 460 OC FTW edition, x2 500GB caviar blacks, x2 150GB raptor drives. Running on 47" LG LCD w/ 5.1 surround sound.
That's my gaming setup. But I have tons of other not worth mentioning. I'll take a pic of it some time.

My old system is nothing to speak about; it's approx. 5 years old.
Just before Christmas, my employer allowed me to "recycle" a somewhat special system: HP Blackbird 002.
This too is a 5 year old system but in the day, it was one helluva system with a 3.0GHz Duo-Core, w/4GB DDR2-5300, GeForce 88000 Ultra SLI (x2), 160Gb primary and 1TB secondary drive, on a Asus Striker Extreme, complete with liquid cooling for both CPU and both GPU's. Unfortunately, 5 years in computer time is like 30 years in human time, and the system board was malfunctioning like crazy when I got it home.

They no longer sell the Striker Extreme and I refuse to buy used units, DDR3 type memory is the latest memory types, CPU's are now i3/i5/i7 cores (quad cores).

Typically, it's been my idea to just rebuild a box with the most current stuff available so today, I headed out to Fry's Electronics and picked up:

16GB DDR3-1600
Asus P8Z68V S1155 (supports SLI)
Intel i7-2600K, 3.4GhZ Quad Core 8MB Cache

The bad news is, the liquid cooler for the CPU (the pump itself) has a different mounting hole configuration than what can be done on the new Asus board. Thus, both GeForce 8800's must go along with the radiator. Not that the Sandy Bridge even needs this kind of cooling any longer, but it was a lot of work to remove everything. I can still use the dual fans near the top of the case, and the standard CPU fan should suffice but now I need to look into the graphics card.

One more hiccup: the Striker Extreme had a singe IDE interface for the lone DVD drive and the new P8Z68-V doesn't. I will be getting a converter but I may also spring for another DVD R/W drive in the second bay.

Stay tuned. This build is far from done. :D

I just ordered 2 Lenovo M 58's with upgraded graphic cards and four 20" monitors. They are only 4/250 right now, but going to throw in another 4 gb once they get here. The graphic card is another Gb too. I went with the 20" monitors because they were so cheap, but wishing I went bigger now. They are just for my home office so should work pretty well. wife needed one as well so thats why I got two.
