a shop needs a bigger and hotter one to turn cars out faster - look into the mytee hp100 or bigger. The mytee lite II is more portable and better for mobile, but it lack suction (only 85" lift) and only has a 3 gal tank. On super dirty vans, I would have to dump and refill at least once.

 

Yeah I got the mytee lite II and have problems with it keeping heat. Have you noticed that Eric?

 

yep, I got rid of it for that reason! Folex and/or a shop vac with water/soap mix work just as well!!!

When I had my Mytee Lite 2 my dad rewired the entire heater/vacuum motor. It was completely shot from the factory. After he spent about 4-5 hours rewiring everything, it never failed me once. Then I sold it because, like Eric said, a good wet/dry vac and some elbow grease works very well!

A wet vac does a decent job but I definitely agree that an extractor is a necessity and ends up being cost saving by hours.

more heat = better
if you are doing multiple cars in one location, a bigger tank is useful
get one with a good warranty covering all parts!!! the button went out on my mytee and the shop I took it to said it wasnt covered...WTF?
