There are so many great planes, to have to pick one is tough. On the general aviation front, the Beechcraft Starship was pure sex. Too bad it didn't do well in the market.

I think it depends on how many think Kelly Johnson, Ben Rich and Willis Hawkins are still in charge?

Old DC-7. Nothing like the sound of a piston engine and a prop. When I finally become wealthy, I am going to buy one and convert the plain into something modern but keep the piston and props and look of the plain.

B-25 "Mitchell" Bomber

Not only do I share a name with it, but my grandfather flew one in WWII.

^ They have one at the Camarillo, CA air show every year and you can take a ride in it. This year they also had one under restoration.

That would be amazing. I remember my grandpa took me to an airshow in Asheville, NC when I was young where you could climb all around the inside, but they didn't take you up in it. I'll have to make a trip out west for that!

By the way, I was conceived in NC, never been there though. Long story.

None are in charge. Its a trick question, they all passed away.

Other than the Sr-71 my active favorite plane is the A10
