No watch is water proof, all models ever made are water resistant to a certain depth.

1/2" of water won't hurt majority of watches ;)

Rock the Rolex Yachtmaster in my pool all the time, and it was with me in the ocean in Mexico few weeks ago.

No pics, unfortunately.

I take my Seamaster everywhere. Diving, hot tub, shower, swimming. Absolutely no condensation what so every.

That's the advantage of having a metal band and diving watch. No limits.

Does anyone else get their leather or crock in the water? If so how do they hold up?

I'm not sure I could ever put my Patek in the water.

I'm pretty sure if you have that PP your not to worried about the strap holding up. LOL
