This was part of a large rally hosted by ER out on the east coast this past weekend, and this S/L driver was unfortunate enough to get pulled over by a trooper during the latter part of the run. The justification for the pullover remains a bit shady, but clearly based on profiling, as no laws were broken, or visibly broken from the troopers standpoint. Afterward, a large group of Ferrari's and Porsche's were also pulled over and ticketed for speeding, when in fact none claimed that had been...

NY state troopers are notorious for ball busting. I feel bad for that guy, he didn't do anything AND it was for a charity run? Give me a break...

You're right...haters gonna hate...but that's just bitterness!

Seriously? An undercover taurus? Really? Theres only one reason there was two cop cars that close to each other, because one called in for another car. Completely unnecessary.

What does the ticket say? (Post a picture if you can -- else it's hearsay.)

A single "awwww..." of consolation and sympathy leaves my mouth... not.

I see possible, jealousy, boredom, curiosity, and stupidity.

I hate cops that are bitches, such as this dingle berry.
Sorry no front liscense plate = ticket in my state. No matter if you drive a beater or a Veyron. The law is the law

The law is the law, you would be correct. I would also like to see the tickets, however there is something else that really chaps my ass. That cop was riding next to that SL just scanning the car (only the Lambo) for everything and anything he could write a ticket for. It has happened to me on more than one occasion, and let me tell you; in these situations no matter how respectful I am, it always seems to be a very unreasonable/aggressive officer.

Officer's rationale:

Charity Rally full of exotics = many owners that have the financial means to pay their tickets.

The video doesn't show what triggered the pull-over -- so
without knowing what's on the ticket, it's anyone's guess.

And even then, the ticket is merely an accusation -- you'd
need to find out the final outcome (i.e. innocent or guilty).

Can cops make mistakes. Absolutely.
Can cops be ueber-picky. You bet.
Statistically... those are outliers.

Take that video footage and go to court, the cop didn't go ahead of the SL, so couldn't of seen the lack of front plate? So no reason for the pull?
