yup... you guys are on to vegas' biggest secret... the suites are nice and super comfy and its pretty cheap compared to the baller places... A+++ in my book...

all the partying goes on at the palms though

I always stay at theHotel at the Mandalay Bay. Big suites and not crazy $$$.
Was just going to suggest that.. We got a suite there on our last trip to Vegas, and it was out of this world!

Four Seasons No Smoking or casino to deal with. Great service, food and rooms. Pool area isn't to crowded. Great Staff. Connected to Mandalay Bay.

I recommend the Four Seasons... its located on the top floors of the Mandalay Bay. Heres the link: http://www.fourseasons.com/lasvegas/

But I think this is more romantic than other places. I got a suite there before and had amazing views of the strip. If you're going with guys and just want to party, not sure if this is best fit. It's also a lot more expensive. It was $1700/night compared to $1200 total for a 3 day weekend at theHotel.

Anyone have an opinion on the Luxor? Through some promotion they seem to be having, I can get the 770sq ft pyramid suite for $569.99 for 3 nights. Sounds like a good deal, but I have never stayed there, and don't know what it is like. To good to be true?

Luxor is ok. I stayed there for a bachelor party (I think they had the best prices then too). I prefer to be further up the strip (same problem with Mandalay Bay). I think you should be able to find something comparable at the MGM.

I like the Belagio for it's location and nice rooms, Palms for fun.

I am thinking about switching it up a bit for the next Vegas trip and staying down town. Possibly Golden Nugget. Last time I was in Vegas I had a blast bouncing around gambling on Fremont.

While we're at it, any good avenues for show tickets? I'd really like to check out a Cirque du Soleil show, and more specifically "O".

I'm not saying a pro at Vegas... but next week will be my 46 time in the last 10 years.

My suggestion is... if you want to share a room... try the Rio... it's behind Caesars and next to the Palms. It's pretty cheap also.

I usually stay at Caesars... in the Augusta tower... because it's right in the middle of everything... Plus I usually stumble back to the room after a good drinking night @ Pure on Saturday.

My trip next week, I'll be staying at the "Red Rock"... because the big boss want to chill at resort.
