This year at SEMA, North America's leading auto industry aftermarket show, Hennessy has unveiled an upgraded version of their Venom GT.

What makes this one stand out is its power: the 2016 model adds a power boost of 207hp, taking the total to a ludicrous 1451hp. The sports car company plans to produce Venom GTs until the end of next year, where it’ll be replaced by the Venom G5.

This power upgrade can propel this car to a top speed of more than 280 mph and a 0-60 mph time of 2.4 seconds. The car only weighs 1244 kg, making it the world’s first production car to have a better power to weight ratio than the One:1.

Hennessey unveiled this hypercar yesterday (November 3) alongside the Supercharged Mustang Convertible, and the 650hp Velociraptor truck, which is based on the Ford F-150.
