Finally! I would've jumped into that from my old IS350 instead of hopping over to Jaguar for a powerful midsize sleeper.

I love it too and still miss my IS-F but also wish they added forced induction and another 100 HP to at least keep up with the big boys....:eek:hwell:

why do people always use hp as the barometer for a car that no one has driven?

i don't see people buying the z06 over a gt3. power is great but is there that much of a difference be a 5 second 0-60 and a 4.5? most people probably wouldn't be able to tell.

Its great that Lexus is giving us more enthusiast-type cars to choose from. The price of this GSF will be its ultimate barometer for me. Won't even comment on its looks.
My biggest complaint about Lexus right not stems from the F-Sport line of cars. The IS250 F-Sport should have at least 230-250 hp. The GS350 and RC350 F-Sports should be around 350hp. Don't care about CT and RX F-Sports as I think those cars don't deserve F badges. But since we have them, boost their power a little as well. Since Lexus is willing to play, let's play a little harder so that us enthusiasts can hold our own a little better out there.

Agreed. The F sport models are basically the same cars with a body kit. Not worth the extra price.

Do the BMW M sport models get a boost in power or is it just visual enhancements as well?

I'm just saying they should stop being woosy's. Like the is250 for example, i've shut plently of them down with my 04 330, it wasn't even close. A 10 year old car..

Don't care about BMW because they have different levels with different power choices. A 328 has 240hp. The 335 has 300hp. The M3 has 400+hp. The 328 with 240hp kills the IS250. It's just silly the IS250 F-Sport is soooo slow. It looks so cool. It looks fast. Guys who buy it are so embarrassed at its meager power they often de-badge it.....which doesn't make sense because we know if its de-badged it must be a IS250. Just a little computer programming of the engine management system will do the trick.

I do believe the IS 250 V-6 with 204 or so hp will be replaced with the 240hp or so turbo I-4 in the new NX next year. Lexus also hinted that the engine could be tuned for more power in different applications.

Regg always good seeing you posting!

Yeah, we heard from an engineer the turbo from the NX could be the next engine. The same engineer said they could easily reprogram the engine management of the current engine to increase power. I prefer natural power. Turbo's make too much heat.

What's doin Mike? I need a set of wheels for an RC. Text me Javid's number. Doesn't he work for you guys now? 954 557-7965.

To bad its way slower then both the E63 and M5. Lexus always does this, even with the RCF. Lol..
The added performance comes at a cost though. GS F is starting at $84,440 (~$88K with most of the options selected). M5 starts at $94,100. E63 S starts at $101,700. All things considered it would be a tough sell for me to choose the BMW or Merc over the Lexus.

Not a good looking car from any angle...
I'm not gonna say its the most beautiful car out there but we sell a lot of GS350's. Even with the lack of power many complain about. Surely, many people like its looks. I'll bet we get a lot more German car trade-ins than they get from Lexus trade-ins.

I believe we will sell a fair amount of these cars. People contact us everyday waiting for this car to hit the dealership.

You're entitled to your opinions, thanks for putting it out there.....but the GS-F will do well. Despite its looks.

Pretty certain the car will sell quite well. From reviews the car handles really good, even no being as fast as the German rivals.
