The Hublot  Sang Bleu  is a multidisciplinary artistic platform founded by Maxime Büchi. In 2006, Maxime launched the eponymous magazine, which merges art, fashion, literature, sociology and tattooing.
In 2014, Maxime created the Sang Bleu London Tattoo Studio, bringing together a dozen top-flight tattooists. Among his prestigious clients are Kanye West and Adam Lambert.

Introduced by Hublot as a brand-new, and totally redesigned Big Bang, with its lines beveled, and cut by the geometric effect. The bezel of the Big Bang Sang Bleu is shaped into a hexagon to create a three dimensional effect.  The matte black dial has a wide black satin-finish circular flange stamped with the hours. The numerals were created by Maxime Buchi’s typeface-design agency SwissTypefaces SARL.

The time is displayed through the superposition of three rhodium-plated octagonal-shaped discs. The largest disc indicates the hours, while the small one marks the minutes. To make time telling easier, one of the tips of the hours and minutes octagons is in white Superluminova. The seconds tick by in the center on a black disc stamped with the H of Hublot and the stylized hourglass of Sang Bleu.
Available in a limited run of 200 pieces, the titanium Big Bang Sang Bleu runs on a Unico manufacture movement remodeled without a chronograph and redesigned in order to tell the time through three discs. The oscillating weight features the triangular codes of the Sang Bleu logo.

The motifs of the dial are extended to the 45-mm titanium case which is engraved to resemble the geometry of the sculpture. The watch comes on a black calfskin strap. Sewn onto rubber, it is hot stamped in a gradient from black to gray. As a reminder of the collaboration, the Sang Bleu logo is engraved on the back of the strap.
