The wait is FINALLY over!

No more guessing, no more playing around...........

The McLaren MP4-12C has OFFICIALLY landed! McLaren Newport Beach is happy to announce that our dealer demonstrator 12Cs are stateside. These much anticipated, carbon fiber, twin-turbocharged, fuel efficient, track nominators were delivered at our showroom yesterday and will soon be seen on the streets of Southern California!

Here are some quick shots of the cars arriving yesterday. More photos to come! If you are in the OC area this weekend, we plan on bringing both cars to Cars & Coffee in Irvine on Saturday morning. Hope to see you guys there!

freakin gorgeous... really loving the all white.

i think the mclaren looks best with matching vent fin (much like sideblade on the R8) like the white car, rather than the contrasting colors like the orange one, but to each their own.

i think this is the hottest ride under $300k right now IMO

For those of you who have not had the pleasure of driving one, or riding in one yet........ YOU ARE MISSING OUT! I can honestly say that the MP4-12C has raised the bar extremely high. The suspension is probably more advanced than anything else I have ever driven. The power delivery is awesome. Doors are iconic. And I thought the launch control was my favorite part about the car until I used the braking system!!! The total package is absolutely UNREAL. When you have a Formula 1 company building a street car, you know only good things are going to come from it. The 12C proves that statement in a BIG way.

McLaren Newport Beach has some BIG plans with L4P coming up real soon! We will keep you informed as this story unfolds. If you are in the OC area this weekend, come find the McLaren/Lamborghini Newport crew at Cars & Coffee.

A friend of mine was in charge of the brake system development, which includes the air brake. He said it was one of the best systems he has ever been involved in. Coming from AP Racing (with 100 years of braking experience, most of those years in Formula 1), that says a boatload about how these perform -- both iron and carbon-ceramic variants!

This is a design that is appreciated even more in person. The smallest of details are amazing, yet they seem hard to photograph. I was not sold on the rear from the early photo releases. But after seeing one up close a few months ago, I completely changed my mind. That tail looks HOT in person!
