I will probably get a RR Sport SC as my next DD. Can't be worse maintenance cost wise than the Diablo haha. I'll try and get a warranty.

OK, call it what you will, but IMO, if you can't put a sheet of plywood in the back of it, it is *not* a truck. Tax purposes, sure, call it a truck all day long. Functionally, it's not a truck. Again, IMO, YMMV.
Coy is correct. The term truck is a designation of body on frame construction and weight vs. unibody construction. It doesn't have to be a pickup truck to be a truck, nor does it have to be a tractor-trailer. The term truck is generic, being divided by grade (light truck heavy truck) as well as functionality- pickup, dump, cement, tractor-trailer, panel truck, SUV etc.

Admittedly, the lines are getting blurred. The Hummer H1, last-gen Montero, Mercedes GL and current-gen ML are all unibody or hybrid unibody-ladder frame vehicles, as is the Honda Ridgeline. Also, the last-gen Silverado wasn't a full-length ladder-frame vehicle.
