Hey all,

I'm thinking of buying one of Steinhart's pilot watches but couldn't figure out if I should go for 44mm or 47mm. I love the crown on the bigger model but I doubt if my wrist can pull off 47 milimeters.

These are the ones I'm thinking of buying;
Fliegeruhren Nav B-Uhr stainless steel - Steinhart Watches
Fliegeruhren Nav B-Uhr II 44 mm Handaufzug - Steinhart Watches

So what do you say? Other than the size issue what should I look for? (since I'm not a watch guru lol)

I'd also appreciate any pics comparing 44 and 47 mm Steinharts.

Thanks for taking your time :bow1:

Seeing that 47mm on Thsiao's wrist for the first time, pushes me to the 44 as well. I've been on the hunt for the right Steinhart Pilot for a while, but I always felt the 47mm would be too big. I think I was right haha.

I wouldn't think twice, I'd go for 47 mm.
I have an IWC BP, and that one is close to 47 mm and I absolutely love it. :)

47, big and bold! On a side note since you guys mentioned steinhart, I'm expecting my preorded 42mm gmt black pretty soon! Super excited. Has your watches stood up in term of reliability and craftsmanship?

IMHO, Steinhart quality is pretty good (at least my watch). The case, strap, etc. all look and feel like quality. Haven't had any issues with mine and I've had it for almost 1 year.

I think I need to measure my wrist first I'm so confused lol

My wrist is pretty big, so for me 44-47 mm is perfect.
I also have a 53 mm U-Boat, that one is a big f##ker :)
Anyways, I like big watches that draw some attention to themselves.
