I have offices in Lima and Bogota.

 

Seems a little late for this. Every newspaper, magazine and real estate company I know, already has apps. Maybe I'm missing the business model.

 

Medellin colombia. We are dealing with a few companies in lima but with a different business.

And the apps that we are doing range from basic reading (what most magazines and newspapers have to augmented reality integrated) 3d advertisement and some other cool stuff. Ill post some stuff up in a little bit

Our business in Colombia is in the coal industry and our Lima operations are big data/info management related.

One of the things we are doing is for example, a brand wants to use their printed content as a bridge to engage readers we would create an app for them which recognizes all their adds and brings them into 3d, it adds ways to access social media, catalogs of products etc etc

 

Imagine this is an add on a magazine, u open the app and now u have access to a lot more information, from services to catalogs to adding a map to take u to the location

 

Cool, my mom and i have a small business in colombia buying real state. Mostly condos, the market is great down there. My grandfather loves cattle so we have a couple of large farms as well.

I have to ask him what is the name of the company he is talking to. He does something like corporate structure development, they go in a make a structure for the company to run more eficiently, cut costs, know what everyone does etc etc pretty much they tell the company who they can let go and who can take over

Now, I love how you are stepping into other markets and making a mark but I don't get the reason behind coming to mainland U.S. wouldn't it better to expand deeper into South America though ? I always love hearing about people making headway. Good luck

 

Haha i had my phone keyboard in spanish.. As for why coming here, well why not? Augmented reality is just starting to catch up here in the US, we are also expanding in spain and central america through partnerships

 

That is so very cool! That'd be awesome to just look at an article or image and have it load up a news video, or car advertisement or site. You've already looked at it and are interested, so it's very intuitive.

 

This is possibly one of the coolest things i've seen.

It was very impressive. But I can't imagine somebody reading a newspaper and then using the iPad/iPhone to see the video about the news. Makes no sense to me. If I can just go straight on my iphone and read the news and see the videos there.

 

Is not just about the video but adding content and liking the online capabilities. For example, you have a gallery of pictures that you would like to display but due to space you cant, well you can add it as an extra.. The biggest value to this is advertisement but believe it or not one of the newspapers using our platform has about 14k downloads which isnot bad considering it is a small regional newspaper in south america

 

I understand that and I think the 14k downloads are a good sign.

I just can't see myself reading a printed newspaper anymore or even using my phone/tablet over the printed material to get more out of it.
