^I use Kiehl's; pretty much their entire line.
It's good stuff, I bet you have wonderful skin.

im using st. ives apricot scrub :p
No issues from using it? It's one of the most abrasive exfoliators out there, the apricot pit is not very finely ground...it tends to tear and scrape more than a regular exfoliant. The ideal exfoliator is one with rounded particles, they won't scratch. You shouldn't ever feel burning if you wash after your scrub. A dermatologist is the one who told me how much damage I was doing with St Ives, and she didn't follow it with a sales pitch for another item, so I tend to believe her.

nope no issues, i have heard about the micro tears it does but i really only use it about 1 or 2 times a week but after i heard what it does i actually stopped for a while but at one point i felt like i needed to scrub off all the grime from my face after a long day outside and my exfoliator with the beads just didnt seem to do the job so i went ahead and used the st. ives again and after i felt like i had new baby skin haha. Even though it felt like i was taking a piece of sand paper to my face

Kiehl's (I promise I don't work for them) has a new men's eye product - Facial Fuel Eye De-Puffer

That's the only male-targeted eye product I'm aware of, but I'd imagine any high-quality brand would work - find the best reviewed women's product and see what you're willing to spend.

Is there a difference in say "food grade" coconut oil, and coconut oil marketed as "health and beauty/skin care"? i use coconut oil often for cooking, but before i start rubbing that on my face I should know if there is a difference. I see there are many types on amazon...

you are very very smart.

I use coconut oil as well for moisturizer, its completely natural so there is no harmful chemical being introduced to your body like those 'beauty products'

Its medium chain fatty acids are perfect for skin absorption and its anti-bacterial/viral/fungal properties are perfect for disinfection and keeping the immune system balanced outside and inside of your body.

Food grade is fine, some might argue that extra virgin is better (perhaps it is a little better, not a big diff though) but you can't really cook with it at the same time as the coconut(ty) fragrance drastically changes the taste of your dishes.

I bought 1 gal. tub and got one for free for $50 last summer and I'm almost done with it now. You can't get great prices right now as I think a hurricane disrupted the flow and 'inventory' of tropical goods in this past year.

try tropicaltraditions.com, I've bought from them several times.

What is the cause of puffy eyes for men? I don't think I've gotten it before...

but then again, I do rub tons of coconut oil into my eye area everyday finishing up facial cleansing.

Got it - thank you. I'm glad you brought up the component of fragrance, as my oil has none, and I saw that others mentioned the fragrance of their oil. Is the fragrance something that has a long hang time, or does it die off rather quickly? I dont know that I would love to smell like a coconut all day, everyday.

Thanks again

I wouldn't mind it if the fragrance wasn't so strong but its way too concentrated and if you take a whiff, you might actually feel nauseated like I do. Stick to the mildly refined coconut oils, the neutral smell and flavor is great if you're cooking + for skin.

I've never tried this but models all swear by it for eyes.
I have friends that are into fitness competitions and they rub this in their abs before the go on stage. They swear by it.. pulls the water out and shrinks the skin. I could see it working well for eyes. It has many uses besides the obvious. There are alot of lotions that do the exact same thing and cost ALOT more. People are just uncomfortable with buying PH because it because its an ass lotion.

Just tried Baxter's Facial Scrub. I got it as a sample and I must say this stuff is an amazing exfoliant. Will buy a jar tomorrow for sure.

Man with all the ballers on this website Im surprised that many of you haven't used a lot of the top of the line products out there. Here are some of my favorites in no particular order.

For starters Malin+Goetz pretty much has everything. Though I wasnt a huge fan of the shaving cream as it seems runny and doesnt lather well with a shave brush. The Cannabis candle they sell if pretty awesome too. I also use the deodorant cause its aluminum free and doesnt smell like junior high old spice.
(MALIN+GOETZ) - HOME

-Baxter is always a standard go to and same with Khiels. Khiels has a great hand cream that I use all the time especially living in wet, cold Seattle. Same with the Khiels chapstick. The Baxter travel shave brush is a must for the serious shaver on the go.

-Edwin Jagger is also a great mens line. The have good shaving creams for those that like to use a shaving brush.

-Art of Shave is decent too. I like the shave creams cause it lathers well but wasnt a big fan of the rest of the line.

-Lab series... Not a fan. Didnt like the shaving cream cause it didn't lubricate well and doesn't lather at all. The rest of the line I never bothered to try cause I hated the shave cream so much.

-Nivea?? How dare you even ask. Ok, Im being rude cause it works for a bit of people. I cant stand it. It smells like a high school locker room and not really preferable for people with sensitive skin cause of all the perfumes and chemicals.

Me personally I dont use most of the above mentioned unless my standards are out of stock or Im waiting too long for them to ship from overseas. Most people have not heard of these brands Im about to mention but I swear they will blow all of the above out of the water.

For starters Kyoku is the tits! Go to kyokuformen.com and read the story of how the product line was created. I use everything they have for the most part. They rock. Not cheap though. I swear by all the products they offer.

My new favorite shave cream is called Ursa Major. Ursamajormen.com. The shave cream doesnt lather with a brush but it doesnt need to. It rocks and smells like nothing youve smelt before.

My last favorite is Task. TASK Essential - Le spécialiste du soin pour homme. I have sensitive skin and this is best facial moisturizer Ive used that doesnt make my skin super oily. Most moisturizers are too milky for me. Not this one. The whole line is awesome. Good luck finding it though. Order online or in-store at Barneys SF of NY. Oh and its Swiss made so it has to be good right?

So yeah give some a try. I mean you spent how much on a lambo that you might use a few times a month but you got the cheapest shit possible for the stuff you put on your face every day?? Step your game up. Your ladies will love it too.

Your brand choices peg you as a Blackbird shopper. I tried the Ursa Major and it is amazing shave cream and with a brush and mug and some hot water it does indeed lather up some.
