The Detroit Auto Show is one of the most important car shows of the year. And while this show this year felt somewhat subdued—and we haven’t seen a truly blockbuster show since the pre-2009 recession days—there's still enough horsepower and sexy sheet metal at the show to get us really excited.

Here are the Top 10 Supercars of the Detroit Auto Show this year:

Ford GT (Pictured Above)

We have never seen a Ford GT in white, and every time the supercar comes out in a new color, it manages to stop us in our tracks. This car was the biggest reveal at last year’s Detroit show, and even a year later, it is still one of the most stunning supercars here.

Lingenfelter Chevrolet Corvette Z06

As if the regular Z06 wasn’t crazy enough, aftermarket tuner Lingenfelter has done its work on the American sports car and bumped up the stock 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque to 720 hp and 730 lb-ft. Along with a whole host of other performance upgrades including a supercharger, they will dyno it to guarantee the horsepower and warranty the parts for a year. One of the most spectacular facts is that Lingenfelter charges just under $4,000 for this massive upgrade.

Aston Martin Vanquish

Just look at those curves. Aston Martin describes this V12 grand tourer as the best car it has ever built, and we agree that it’s definitely one of the most beautiful. The naturally aspirated V12 pumps out 568 hp and can help get the car to 60 mph in 3.6 seconds.

Audi R8

Even though it’s not the newest supercar, the Audi R8 is still one of the best looking.

Dodge Viper ACR

The Dodge Viper ACR is a lightweight and performance-oriented track weapon. Although you can’t legally drive it on the public streets, for hardcore track warriors, this is the best weapon. It doesn’t have any power upgrades, but it weighs a lot less than the regular Viper to make sure your lap times stay competitive.

Ferrari 488 GTB

No supercar list is complete without a Ferrari, and, well, this Ferrari 488 GTB was the only one I could find at the show.

BMW i8

Any car that comes with billionaire doors needs to be on a supercar list. And this BMW i8 definitely has some of the coolest doors you can buy these days.

Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster

This crazy Lamborghini is powered by the same 6.5-liter V12 as its coupe counterpart, which sends 740 hp and 509 lb-ft of torque through a seven-speed ISR automated manual transmission and on to all four wheels. It can also get to 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, which places this Lamborghini squarely into supercar territory.

Acura NSX

The Acura NSX is getting closer and closer to being produced. We’re going to get the chance to drive it very soon, so it makes this list because we’re still very excited to get behind the wheel, even though it seems like we’ve been waiting forever.

VLF Force 1

Making headlines before it was even debuted because Aston Martin was trying to  legally block its reveal , the VLF Force 1 may not be the prettiest supercar at Detroit, but it is one of the most interesting. Based on a Dodge Viper, this strange-looking supercar is powered by an 8.4-liter V10 engine with 745 horsepower. The Force 1 will cost $268,500 and production will be capped at 50 units.
