The 993, produced between late 1993 and early 1998, was the last of the air-cooled Porsches. Because of its status as being the end of an era for Porshce, the 993 is becoming more and more collectible by the day. What we had in our shop was a great condition, and very rare Arctic White Carrera S. The owner really loved this car and basically told us that he wanted it works...and that's exactly what it got; the NWAS Fanatic Detail which leaves no stone unturned.
Wheels removed to be cleaned, and waxed as well as to allow us access to the fender wells and under side of the car for cleaning.
With the use of a citrus based degreaser, our hot water/steam pressure washer we were able to lift years of grime and road debris buildup.
After washing
While the underside of the car was being cleaned, some of the guys were inside working on the wheels, taking off the old weight adhesive on the barrels of the wheels
After the underside of the car was scrubbed and the exterior of the vehicle was washed, it was time to bring it inside and assess the needs of the vehicle.
Interior was in need of some leather care, due to Jean transfer and the soiling which had taken place over time.
The paint was definitely in need of some TLC as well, we opted for a 3 Stage Buff and Polish on the exterior.
Once a game plan was established for the paint, the car was clay bared and all edges and plastic taped to prepare for polishing
