The Porsche Taycan isn’t even available yet and our friends at  TaycanEVForum.com  are already dreaming up what a GT3 version of the company’s first electric car could look like.

Porsche hasn't mentioned a GT3, but it has already confirmed a Taycan Turbo is coming as the more performance-oriented version of the EV. And given the brand's commitment to motorsport, a race-ready GT3 variant doesn’t seem out of the question.

We know the regular Taycan is going to be ridiculously fast, and with better aerodynamics and massive weight cuts, a track-focused Taycan GT3 might be able to get to 60 mph in less than 3 seconds.

We can’t wait to see the Taycan debut and we’re excited for the day a Taycan GT3 will hit the streets. Should Tesla be scared? Let us know in the comments below.
