So I found a station right by my house that has all the way upto 122 leaded and methyl fuel

My question is what happens if I add 122 leaded fuel into my 91 unleaded?
Will this do anything on performance or will it screw with my car?

the price 1st of all is going to be hella exensive. I've seen tests with Lightnings up to 107 octane and without a tune it only got 5-6hp over regular 91. With a tune however 100 octane is the way to fly.

what gas? which company? O2 added?

there are so many variables to race gas...the octane rating does not mean squat.

also...an engine not tuned for race gas will make less power on it because of an incomplete burn. higher octane fuels are resistant to detonation....but also resistant to burn.

tune it with C16. Going with just a higher octane is most of the time too cold for the ignition to light it. ;)

I dont know about new engines...but can a turbo bmw be tuned to run c16? its leaded.

one good option is 109e from vp...its unleaded, oxygenated. and has ethanol in it...keeps your engine cool. nice weight too (800 at 60)

I have alway run vp and have a tank and fuel pump at my ranch that carries vp109
I run vpm5 on my camaro, c-16 on my vette, and the regular motorsport 109 on almost all my race bikes..my 751whp turbo busa uses the vp100.

the best vp ever was the old 104...they dont make it anymore.

Without any sort of tune on your car you will not see very much gains. Like stated above you may see anywhere from 5-10hp if that. So really not worth the extra cash. Also if you run any sort of leaded fuel in your car for awhile you can kiss your O2 sensors goodbuy. I used you run C16 on one of my cars back in the days but I was running a full stand alone computer with selectable maps (91,100,C16) and also a bunch of power mods on the car.

Drew935- Did you used to work at Bozz with Kenric?

so what can I fill my 135 with to give it a little more fun?
103 unleaded is the highest i would run. Leaded fuel will fill your O2 sensors and Cats

If you simply add 103 octane to a stock 135. you wont notice anyting except you wasted a lot of money. Its expensive these days.

turn up the boost and add spark, you will notice a difference :D

What higher octane fuel does is allow you to turn up the boost and add spark in a safe manor w/o det.

warning! KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING BEFORE TURNING UP BOOST OR MESSING WITH ANY ECU PARAMETERS.

Will it work with a JB 2.0 tune? If anyone is familiar with bmw tuning.

the JuiceBox 2 is entry level few wire piggy back unit and increases boost about 2-3 psi and is safe for 91 octane. Sure you can use 103 unleaded octane. Its a waste of money and you wont feel any difference since the spark map is tuned for 91 octane.

Don't run leaded gas with cats. It's a recipe for disaster. At most mix some 100 (unleaded) with the 91 for some added protection. Other than that, it's pretty useless unless you are tuned...

That's for the JB2. I think he meant the JB3 2.0, which includes a "race gas" map designed for 100 octane. Gains are pretty impressive...

Stick to unleaded though, leaded will destroy your cats.
