WTB?:porsche 914? (Feeler)

I know what you're thinking, who in the right mind would consider one:p But I'd like one, I'm in no position to buy one at the moment and I have no clue what I'm in for, so I figured I'd ask here. So any info, etc will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Shaun I think he is looking at a 914 not a 918. By the way 918 is 650k.

I dont know much about them but they look badass and I bet they are easy to work on and cheap to pick up.

I'll see if my dad wants to part with ours. I'll post up and let you know.

you can pick one up in fairly good condition for around $4k
I was looking at them over the weekend for a toy to play with..
If your familiar with any of the old aircooled VW's of the 60's/70's they are basically the same.. look for rot in the rear fire wall and front inner wings near the floor pan.
the mechanicals are basic so not a problem if you have little experience and parts are cheap too.

I've raced them all of my life. I can say that they are some of the funnest cars I have driven in race or street trim. I have been spoiled and have only driven 914/6 street cars, but they are GREAT. We've got an original 914/6 with the factory flares etc. just like the car above, but with original Fuchs not black. That thing is SICK by the way ^^^
