I decided to pick up a beater car to drive every day. Something I don't need to worry where I park or if i will be able to make it into the parking lot without hitting a low front spoiler.

All kidding aside, this is the nicest car i have ever driven. It accelerates so fast but it is so quite and smooth you are speeding before you know it.

Because i'm one of those idiots that can't leave anything alone, we are ordering the full Renntech package today as well as the Loinser kit.
I will post updated photos as soon as I have them.

Mercedes is like that great smooth power and Congrats on getting such a great ride.

GINO its too bad you didnt call me........... I have lorinser wheels for this! I took them off my S65 that you saw a while ago!

I usually get 20 - 30 percent off the Renntech ECU / TCU mods too. The last one I did on the S65 was 3750

BTW when your all done with the car I gotta come check it out!

What is the nicest kit for these? I spoke to someone with a Wald design which looks really bad.

A little off topic, is that your sportchassis in the back? If so, how do you like it? I am looking at haulers for boat, horses, etc.

I don't think i'm going with Lorinser on this. I have Lorinser on my other Benz and i have had them in the past. I like more gaudy wheels on these.

Love the CL65, they are my fav MB after the S-Class. The Sport Chassis is sweet too, we had a similar one (older model) to tow our old 5th wheel camper.

 

That's great, seems to have worked out well for you seeing the description of your fleet. I'm trying to start investing into real estate but I am restoring and flipping cars to build the funds. Love your taste in vehicles

That's a great daily. Is the CL65 faster then the Murcielago?

 

I don't think it's faster. It is hard to comprehend how fast it is. It's so quiet and smooth you don't realize how fast you are going. I got on it getting on I95. I thought i was up to about 100 but when i looked it was over 130.
This is a car that is going to be a ticket magnet. I can easily see driving down the highway on the phone doing 100 and thinking i'm doing 70.
