German tuner Hartge has revealed a new programme for the BMW X6. The total package includes a performance upgrade, additional technical changes, newly designed rims and several interior refinements.
Thanks to a performance module – a supplementary control unit fitted in the engine compartment – the tuner boosts the power output of the X6 xDrive 40d from 306hp (225kW) to 354hp (260kW) and increasing the torque from 600Nm (443lb-ft) to a remarkable 700Nm (516lb-ft). The X6 beats the standard model to 100km/h by 0.6 seconds and to 200km/h by a whole 6.5 seconds. The top speed si increased with 12km/h making 248km/h possible.
