Cars & Coffee – first Sunday of each month - > Cars and Coffee™ Austin
It’s a traditional park and walk around looking at cars. Since it is monthly we all know each other, the town of Leander it taken over for the day – music, …etc. Sometime 400 cars, sometime 100…. Not the ‘tuner’ crowd.
It’s sponsored by John Eagle – so Lotuses get top billing….

This is typically a bunch of higher-end sports cars – go on a 60-90min run through a secret location. You get moving… so it’s not for the faint hearted, but always nice to pass a $200k car…

F1 Watch Party - > F1WatchParty.com - Local Business - Austin | Facebook - Every Sunday that an F1 race is on.
They replay the F1 race in the Cool River bar (which is closed for this event) – big screen, prizes, announces on F1, charity stuff, …etc
The Cool River parking lot becomes a car show of high-end cars – about an hour before the race. The Porsche, Ferrari, Lambo, …etc clubs all come. John Eagle is one of the sponsors.

Cars, light Trucks and SUV's, if it's street legal and under 7000 lbs. GVW
Race Cars built to Road Race are also permitted.

Nov 12th Hill Country Drives - Grand Prix - > Hill Country Drives | Spirited monthly drives through the Texas Hill Country

This November 12th, at
The Domain Shopping Center (on the top of the parking garage behind Dillard’s) bring your bike, car, truck or novelty vehicle out to participate in this event in support of PatientForward.org. This will be a Austin based family friendly and fun for all levels, scavenger hunt through the Austin area. This will be team based and will be limited to certain quantity. Maximum of 5 autos per team. If you don’t have a team…don’t worry, we can place you on a team! The location of the event will the gorgeous, auto friendly (secure) and screams Austin, local and fun for all! Imagine driving through Austin seeing your fellow Grand Prix folks behind you, crossing your path, posting on facebook, snapping cell phone pictures etc, all the while learning more about the Austin area and what it has to offer…this will be a blast!!!

Participants will be judged on a people choice basis, many awards will be given, and those registered will receive a tee shirt and event goodie bag. As this is a social event, a photographer will be on site taking pictures and look for pictures of you and your car to be placed in local publications

Registration/donation for participation for the event is only $20. Donations will be used to provide health and wellness to the working poor, uninsured, underinsured and disaster victims through Patient Forward Foundation.

All participants receive a goodie bag and event T-shirt. The first 50 cars show registered cars will receive a dash plaque.

We request if possible to pre-register for the event so we can be sure to have ample space reserved. To register, send an email to [email protected]
There will also be a silent auction onsite to help raise funds for this fantastic organization…look for some amazing items!

Meet at Silverado Hair Salon, 12800 W Parmer Lane (1/2 mile SOUTH from 1431 and Parmer), Cedar Park, Texas

Longhorn Corvette Club and Hill Country Drives
have teamed up together to take you on a drive that you won't forget.

This drive will be even more exciting than drives in the past because we will have a professional film crew following us on this adventure.

We estimate over 50 participating cars including lots of
Corvettes, Vipers and other SWEET RIDES.

Mark your calendars for Saturday, January 28th.

All drivers will meet at Silverado Hair Salon at 10:30am
and leave at precisely 11am. This location was selected for the
ample parking and easy access to Parmer Lane.

Anyone have info on the F1 race in November? Ticket information, also good places to stay (hotels near the track). Will be coming in from Colorado and would like some ideas please.
