such an amazing car. Doesn't the import law state that there is a 15 or 20 year wait (from the production year) before performance cars can be imported from japan or something like that? If so, we can still import these in our lifetimes, just later on.

I think it can fall under some "classic" car at some point, where is is exempt from crash test.

there are ways to get them here. actually the r32 will be legal here soon due to the 25 year law you cen import and not worry about emissions or crash testing.
