New member - Build I'm working on ('94 Supra)

Hey guys,

I'm Patrick and I live in Palm Springs, CA. I own a 1994 Toyota Supra twin turbo with 78,000 miles. Finally decided to pull the trigger on a monster Supra build and things are looking good so far. Should make upwards of 1100rwhp on 100 octane and methanol (70/30 mix under boost). Street tune will be set to a modest 550hp with a little more methanol and Cali 91 pump.

Block decked/honed/bored .020 over.
High compression CP pistons (9.0:1)
BC H-beam rods
Fully built/ported head
GSC S2 cams
Shimless buckets
Precision GT42-76R billet CEA (1.32 a/r)
Twin 44mm Tial 'gates
6spd trans/Clutchmasters clutch (Nascar spec - good for 1500 ft./lbs.)

Motor is at the machine shop now, and I will post lots more pictures as we get the motor back and start to build it on the stand. Here's a couple from before we started.

Thanks guys! The motor just came back from the machine shop so I'll be taking plenty of pictures when we assemble it. Gotta do it in two stages because I need the rod clearances before I can order the bearings. Also need to pick up the rods soon, got my eye on some Carrillo HD rods with the 3/8" CARR bolts. Build once and do it right, right?

The cams I'm looking for are on major backorder so I might go with a set of HKS 280s or some custom Kelford cams. Don't know the lift for each off the top of my head but will post pictures and measurements after we make it happen.

Still not gonna go the E85 route unless for some reason the car doesn't make the power I want on the 100 octane and methanol setup, but by pushing it to 32-34psi and spraying the meth in with the fuel under boost, I don't think I'll have an issue. I'd need another fuel pump, larger injectors, and bigger lines to make the E85 work, which is why I dint really wanna just jump into it. Gonna see how the meth works out first.
