Learn more about the car at: New McLaren 650S Supercar Teased | Autofluence
What do you guys think the engine and price will be like?
You've officially lost it...Nobody makes true high end sports car (other than Porsche) in the 110-160 range which I think would be the most desirable price point for those that can just afford a 5-10yr old supercars but don't want the reliability/cost of ownership issues.
The only difference between a 160k car and a 260k car is the price.
Everything offered at the quarter mil price point can also be offered for 100k less with a little effort, maybe not mclaren but everyone else
So the difference between the R8 & gallardo is 60% more car? You've officially lost it...
McLaren P1: Driven - PistonHeadsProbably the same boring old 3.8L V8TT. Let me know when McLaren makes something interesting.
yup, that 3.8 sounds real boring. Also nothing interesting about the P1 at all.The P1 is the bestest, fastest, most exciting car sports/super/hypercar I've driven. Nothing else comes close. -Chris Harris
I guess the upcoming P13 is going to be in this particular price range. The 650S should cost around 300k.Nobody makes true high end sports car (other than Porsche) in the 110-160 range which I think would be the most desirable price point for those that can just afford a 5-10yr old supercars but don't want the reliability/cost of ownership issues.
I know you're joking, but this is exactly how I and many others feel. They are robots in a world full of interesting people. If you believe speed is all that makes a car good then you can get it for much cheaper than the P1.yup, that 3.8 sounds real boring. Also nothing interesting about the P1 at all.
...is lunacy. The only difference between a 160k car and a 260k car is the price.

Hmm..
Exactly what I was thinking, they shouldve updated the rear if they went ahead and re did the front.Yeah, not sure how I feel about it. The front doesn't really match the rear now.
