I've been stressing for a long, long time. I quit my work 9 months ago but can't decompress and have wondered if the GR rally could be what I need. Can anyone really tell me what it entails beyond the camaraderie of driving across America? What do I stand to gain here? The alternative is a new Yamaha R1 which is obviously more of a solo venture.

^^ gabe knows what hes talking about. he drove all the way from quebec and back.

You will meet people that will become ur great friends for life. It is one of the best experiences I have ever had. Its not just about the driving but more so for me about the experiences you have along the way. Everyone stops for pit stops and these breaks are fun/goofy. The parties are ridiculous and too much fun. Everyone is so humble, down to earth and friendly. gr2 was my first gold rush and i knew no one. I couldnt find a co-pilot and never heard about l4p before. I came from another forum but def loved the idea of the rally. I asked my cousin to join me on the rally. We knew no one but were welcomed with open arms and drinks ;-) fucking best time ever. gr3 I brought my wife and she had an amazing time. She loves it and wants to go in her own team the next time we do it. unfortunately its not this year. :-(

the people you will meet want nothing from you but to meet and socialize with other like minded individuals. :)

the pics and videos will never do the rally justice. its even better when you experience it yourself!

It was one of the best decisions I ever made. It will be yours too if you pull the trigger.
