I've been lucky enough to have a wife who has always supported my enthusiasm and love for cars since the day we met. One of my stipulations for marriage was dropping the Altima for a Lexus:lol:....last year it was time for a newer Lexus and she went back and forth between the RX and GS F-sport. The cabernet (red) leather on the GS won her over and to date she always states how much she loves to drive her car. This is a pretty loaded F-sport with HUD, Mark Levinson Sound System, and the Dynamic Rear Steer which really makes this car super fun to drive. If you have not driven a GS, especially a F-sport, check it out. it features a special 16 way F-sport seat, F-sport suspension, exterior changes, aluminum trim, larger stock 19" wheels/tires and a true 2 piece front rotor for better braking.

We've gone through wheels naturally and the Vossen's fit perfectly in 20x9 and 20x10.5 fitments. My wife always picks our matte graphite finish which gives her a similar feel to the stock GS F-sport Shadow look (except when we used CVT's which are silver polish only). For modifications she chose items that compliment the look in subtle fashion. She did not want the car slammed to the ground :D:eek:hwell: Happy wife happy life lol...

She decided on 35% tint as the first mod.

We first went with RS-R "down" Springs which offers a nice subtle 1" drop front and rear. They do offer a 2" spring "super down" and of course coilovers. We have never had an issues RS-R and I am a huge fan of the company and people as I have now gotten to know them. There are coilovers sitting in the trunk:whistle: which she has agreed to have installed.

After initially going with a great set of Nitto INO 245/35/20 and 285/30/20 we now use Toyo T1 Sport 245/35/20 and 275/30/20. We recommend 275s, they fit perfect. With 285s I did roll her fender some. Both tires are fantastic to me.

After reviewing kits, she went with the Lexon Exclusive carbon fiber side and roof spoiler. When Vossen was in Japan for the World Tour, Takemi, the owner of Exclusive was nice enough to offer the front lip as a gift. Luckily she loved how it looked. We did not go with the Lexon rear as she did not desire to change the exhaust.

Work was done by my friends in Atlanta, Buckhead Imports and in Miami at Exclusive Motoring. Both companies and people are as good as they get. The vehicle was purchased by the amazing folks (and our good friends) at Hennessy Lexus of Gwinnett and is now serviced by the good team at JM Lexus.

Negative for her/us were we would have went with a GS 450h F-sport if it was offered last year (it is now!) as MPG is okay but not great, rear seat room has now come up since we have a newborn and sometimes I take the car to drive all over without telling her since it's just a great drive.:D

To date I think her favorite wheel has been the matte graphite CV4 but she loves the new gloss graphite finish on the VFS-2 pictured below. I will now keep this thread updated with any changes though it seems we might be at the end of a mini "build" thread lol.

Thanks to Raymond from Exclusive for the photos and if you want to see more click a pic.

Hope you all enjoy her mildly modded GS.

Well we are thinking of changing vehicles up so I'm going to lower her with some RS-R Super Down Springs and maybe add a couple small items with our new graphite finish CVT's and do a proper send-off :)

I've been driving her for the past week and I just love driving this car and am super excited for the GS F with an additional 160+HP.....

Needed some brake pads so I upgraded to Winmax JDM pads..stock was good but now there is even more bite with less brake dust.
