Very different, but I've always had my heart set on one.

To be honest, it's easier to drive, and a ton more comfortable..
Just love it lol

The R8 is a very comfortable car, easy to drive and looks great. Enjoy it.
That it is, quite suprised actually, was expecting it to be balls out supercar, but - it is actually quite tame and refined
much like a GT car - actually its less harsh then my RS5 was.. I use it as a daily so, cant complain

Congrats, beautiful car.
Thanks mate - Love your G8 too, here in aus, I had the wagon variant for a while, i was on the g8talk boards as xploit :)
You have probably seen some photos of it, black, slammed, 22's etc :) - Great cars.

Thanks mate, I am quite frequent on R8talk and ozaudi.. Been in to the whole forum thing for quite a while, and if anyone wants to know how to pull any audi apart i've pretty well worked on them all and pulled them down to nothing and rebuilt them.

Congrats on the purchase! How does it drives compared to the RS5?
Beautifully, as mentioned before - A whole heap tamer, until pushed, then it will suck your face off.
But, as an everyday vehicle 10 times better.

On this model i believe its 390kw i could be wrong, quoted about 3.9 to 100kmh or 62mph.. I could be wrong though.
The manual slows it down a bit, just depends how quickly you can slam the gears - but its a whole lot more fun.

Very beautiful. Congrats!
Welcome to L4P, beautiful Spyder. I miss my old coupe
Thanks guys, they definitely are a head turner and a great machine.

Christ I'm doing something wrong in my life.
No your not, keep working at it.

I started as a labourer at 17 digging holes for 80 dollars a week, picked myself up and almost 10 years later of working insane hours.
I have something to show for it, you blokes in the USA dont know how lucky you are - one like this costs approx mid 200,000 USD

A new one here will set you back 450,000 USD + On Road Costs

Welcome , And Congrats take care of that beauty
Right hand drive FTW! Beautiful car. Enjoy it!
Thanks guys, greatly appreciated :D

Cheers

Canadian actually. Sorry I had a few crappy days at work, and in a few weeks I get my exam results back to see if I'm a designated accountant, so the stress level is high.

Almost 30 here lol. Glad to see your hard work paid off.
