vr1 - most def - it'll look good shined up but im not one of those stickler detail guys (too lazy)

chrisdizzle - it's the new ride height. interior is just regular leather with cloth black headliner with accompanying black plastic trim/handle pieces. for those who want to get rid of their beige, i bet you can order the OEM black plastics which makes it way easier to do an alcantara swap. gloss black interior finish.

ckp - no. i'd never ever recommend spacers with a few exceptions (e.g. some gt3s come with spacers from factory, you really love factory wheels and want to lower thus need to make them flush). one of the main reasons of going with properly fitting aftermarket wheels (offset/width/diameter) is to avoid them. the kahn RS fit perfectly and by perfect i mean also that it reuses stock lugs and caps which allows me to easily swap out the "RANGE ROVER" factory caps that i ordered from a uk vendor via ebay. bespoke wheel vendors like HRE, forgeline etc build from scratch, but i purposefully looked for a brand "loyal" shop like kahn to land rover as I prefer one-piece over multi-piece wheels as there is less risk of failure like seal leaks and such. making a single wheel mold for stamping is a serious investment for any wheel vendor so you know kahn had to put in blood sweat and tears to make sure their classic RS design straight up worked. i know for sure kahn did their homework to build properly load rated wheels as land rover is their bread and butter. it's too bad one of the other forum members here reported crap finish and even crappier after service experience. i've bought two sets so far from alex at tag motorsports with 100% sat.

so alex's "in practice, not theory" know-how really delivered here for me. couldn't be more pleased. sorry for being long-winded but hope this helps somebody out there who peruses this thread. there's just too much lazy, misappropriated praise in this world. thanks.

rok- i see good write up. i am sure the build is great on the kahn rims. I just am the not biggest fan of their designs personally. i seeI think i will stay away from the spacers.

Dropped off at the shop for some paint work.

my etch-a-sketch

Front silver grill will be painted semi-gloss black. Front lower lip will be painted same porsche gray (997 RS color). side silver grill fin matched gloss black.

I tried to embrace the bright silver, but it just pops too much as I like a more uniform look. Just not ALL black this go around.

I did the same portion of the Autobio rear in semi-gloss/satin black, and it looks great in person. I went with matching Santorini Black for the silver part though.

I lowered it about 35 to 40mm. Access height is 50mm lower than normal height. Just eyeball it the best you can.

Make sure you align it afterwards.
