can never tell what the real value of Maurice Lacroix watches is. I know they are decently built but discounted like every day of the week. i imagine they are another watch that does not resell well. anyone help me understand their position in the watch hierarchy? i really like Longines more at a similar price point.
ML is one of those brands with an identity crisis. Their higher end pieces are amazing. IMHO they made a huge mistake bringing in lower end quartz watches. They have beautifully decorated Valjoux and ETA based movements as well as recent in-house movements that are even VERY impressive. I have a Masterpiece Lune Retrograde that I paid about 30% off list for and I couldn't be happier.
