What a great idea, I wonder why somebody hasn't done this before? Everyone knows that leather is impervious to brake dust, water, dirt, etc. For cleaning, I guess you just need to hose it off, probably don't even need to wipe down with a rag hwell:.
Im not usually into off the wall stuff but this I actually like. Its definitely a "parked car" show piece and thats where the issue would be for me... none of my cars stay parked

I've trimmed some crazy stuff over the years but never a set of rims!
even with good protection on the leather you could never drive far with them,the heat radiated through the wheel would be enough to ruin them in a very short time!
Points for being different, but it's one of those 20 second cool things.
Crazy stuff like this has become somewhat popular in the south, I've heard - but I've never seen leather - have heard of the wood grain / alligator rims though...
