Lamborghini's perfect storm
by Colum Wood

It may be the most civilized, street-capable Lamborghini ever, but it can also leave you feeling like you just walked off a swirling amusement park ride after leg day at the gym.

I’m standing in the shade of pit lane at the Ascari Race Resort in Southern Spain; my head spinning from being repeatedly snapped around while by brain feels overworked from the intense data processing I just demanded of it. Simultaneously, my thighs are still tight from holding my body in place under repeated heavy braking.

Just then a company representative asks if I’d like another go around the three-mile track in the fantastically new Huracán LP610-4.

Having just exited the car moments ago, I take a deep breath, a splash of water and I’m popping open the door of the bright yellow super sports car before I’ve even had time to swallow.

And really, when asked if you’d like to push a 600-plus horsepower Italian exotic to its limits, is there any other answer?

Love it, can't wait for mine to come in. I will admit, little underwhelmed by the back end, but the front and interior are gorgeous. Thanks for sharing the video.

Huracan looks good rolling.
Looks good sitting still too.
Absolutely better looking than the Gallardo.
Still looks too tight inside for big guys but what the heck....it's worth squeezing into for a run around the track.

What's the eta? Were you able to test drive or is this a confidence buy? Looking forward to seeing some pictures. Congrats.

ETA is next year for me, I should no more in the next few months. Supposedly production is delayed due to the clear engine bonnets. I'm hoping the unveil the Roadster, I've got a slot for that as well. Definitely a confidence buy, no one at the unveiling has been able to drive one yet, not even the dealers.

really?

i think the rear is a huge improvement over the gallardo, im really happy with what they did.
Certainly just a subjective styling thing here. Not a very aggressive rear diffuser, but I do like the tail lights. I love the front and the interior.
