I think the Porsche was removed and replaced with the Agera R. Couldn't have been more happier with this decision. So basically, "_______" can sit on this! We getting the Agera-R like a BOSS! Now only if you can bring in a Cinque, then we might as well just shut down L4P, because that's pretty much game over.

My understanding previously was that the sales of the Agera/Agera R were put on hold, as they were still pending an extension on their Airbag exemption from the U.S. Government.

Has that already been approved? Judging by the fact that BC is taking delivery of his car some time soon, I asssume so

 

Wasn't the new Pagani Hyura affected from that?

 

On the subject, this was brought to my attention, it seems the document dates back to April 2011

Wonder if Koenigsegg have gotten the approval they need...

 

if politicians cannot afford the car, they try to ban it. This is how it works. hwell: jealousy with power is a terrible thing. we are trying our hands at our own petition to remove the 25 year import/classic law and reducing it to 15 years for numerous older cars to come stateside including R32 and R33 GTRs for full legal use. So annoying that this government is anal on small issues then craps on us for nothing with big issues

I, too, disagree with the government's approach to thois airbag issue, not only in the case of Pagani, but also Koenigsegg, Morgan, Lamborghini et al...

Do you happen to have any idea how the Koenigsegg sales are doing overall btw?
I mean, OK, they are an extremely-low-volume company but would be good to see such an ambitious company reach certain levels of success afterall

Annual build of 12 -13 cars is the current level and from what I understand, they are happy with this at present

This may be the best thread i've ever read. Koenigsegg is like the Apple of the supercar world. They make incredible cars from both an engineering and design perspective. My favorite cars use to be Aston Martins, but without a doubt Koenigsegg. I can't believe this community has such a diverse and interesting collection of cars and people who own them. This new Agera R only shows how awesome this site is and how great it's quickly becoming. So BC, i'm on the east coast, any chance i could get a tour of some of the collection?
