Its great that Koenigsegg is returning to the US, especially since they are going with Manhattan Motorcars, which is close to home (hopefully I'll catch a glimpse when I'm in the city). My question is what about preexisitng US dealers? Back in ~'08 Universal Autosport in Glen Cove, Long Island was recognized as a Koenigsegg dealer. Will they once again be selling Koenigseggs too? They are pretty close to Manhattan motorcars (45 min or so), not to mention that they still have the Koenigsegg logo up on their store front.

Some of the cars can be driven in the U.S through special exemptions, though they are not fully recognized as street legal. That should all change in a year or so, though they are a few for sale stateside, if you were looking for one to drive right now

Wow! My first glimpse and from what I have seen & heard about these sleek machines they will be great for us exotic enthusiasts. That is if in fact they do get passed as street legal just as Mr. New York mentioned.:bitenails:

I'm surprised I wasn't in that video, I was in the booth most of the day acting as a brand specialist for CvK and Jens while they were out of the area. Spent about 8 hours with the car these past two days, fantastic vehicle, and CvK is probably one of the most down to earth, and approachable guys out there, yet alone in his position.

I most likely spoke with you at some point. I talked to a number of people at that booth, including CvK himself. As you said, one of the most interesting and approachable people I've met. I've been impressed, especially since I watched the "Inside Koenigsegg" series.

I'm sure you did, I spoke to a lot of people throughout the weekend there, loved sharing information about the company and the car. North America is going to be huge for Koenigsegg. At several points in conversation with him throughout the show I found myself in disbelief at how human CvK really was. He would laugh, tell jokes, use sarcasm, things that most other CEOs typical don't do. A genuine great guy.
