Well reviews are just that reviews. A journalist gets to play with one for a few hours that's all. Bc has OWNED one and got rid of it and said there was lots to complain about. I'm not a bc supporter or detractor. He clearly has more experience with the koenisegg then either of us. Don't brush off what he says are its shortfalls so quickly.
Then again he has never elaborated on any of it. Pretty hard to take someone's word for it when he never explains.
I'm not question his opinion, just it's relevance.

So I call BC:s "Agera R sucks, Veyron rocks" and raise with 10-20 positive elaborate reviews.

Koenisegg are PAID sponsors of l4p. If he starts getting into the ageras problems how long until they pull the sponsorship deal? No to fucking long I'm guessing. Why else would he not say what the issues were? Remember these elaborate reviews only had a few hours with the car. Bc had it for several months before he sold it. The reviewers won't shit on the car because then they wouldn't be invited to test any of koeniseggs new cars. No one has been able to tell me if koenisegg got the smart airbag exemption they were asking for in the us. Cvk has said in interviews hat they applied for it and he was confident they'd get it. If they didn't and I just paid near 2mil for a car I was promised would be us street legal I'd be really pissed and I'd sell the car. Have you seen any other agera in the us yet? I haven't.

^^ So you're saying that they are allowed to sell cars in the US that are not street legal?.. I somehow doubt that is the case..
And why would they pull the sponsorship just because BC doesn't like their car? They are sponsoring l4p, not BC.

There's nothing illegal, wrong or difficult about selling cars that are not street legal. They are sold on a bill-of-sale, for off-road-use only. No pink slip.

A non us registered car can be temporally imported for up to 6 months. It's entirely different then koneisegg selling cars in the us that are not in compliance with dot crash, airbag, headlight height ect ect. No one has answered the question - has koenisegg received the smart airbag exemtion that was holding them back from selling ageras in the us? I never saw any pics of bc's wearing us lisence plates and I have seen many many pics of the car. And since no other agera are in the us my hunch seems likly. Just because the car was in the us for a time doesn't make it street legal.

As there is speculation on this thread regarding Koenigsegg´s US smart airbag waivers etc, we feel it prudent to clarify, in order to avoid unnecessary misunderstanding and speculation.

Koenigsegg has had US Airbag Waiver for the Agera car line until the end of 2012. This means that all the Agera line of cars, that were substantially built before the end of 2012, does not have an issue with airbags, when it comes to registering cars in the US. All Koenigsegg cars substantially built after this date, either need a Smart Airbag System, or have to be approved for importation under the Show or Display waiver. The Show or Display waiver means - among other things - that the car does not need to comply with Smart Airbag regulation. However a car imported under the Show or Display waiver is only allowed to be driven 2500 miles per year on public roads, with the possibility to drive more on race tracks and such, giving the owner a reasonable amount of usage, even with this limitation.

Whether a car is imported with Smart Airbags, Smart Airbag waiver or under a Show or Display waiver, the car still needs to comply with relevant US emission regulations. In the US this means either EPA or CARB emission regulation. The Agera line of cars are designed to comply with both and we start off to get the EPA paperwork ready and then CARB. As the Artico is no longer in the US and the next new car is coming to the US end of summer, we expect to be ready with EPA for this car sometime in June/July. This car is entering under the Smart Airbag waiver, as it was substantially built already in 2012. From now on newly built cars going to US will have to apply for a Show and Display waiver. Until (and if) we manage to get Smart Airbags into the cars, this is how they will have to be imported. However, earlier built Ageras (before 2013), with US specification, can still be imported to the US, using the Smart Airbag waiver, making them attractive for importation to the US.

Furthermore when it comes to Jameslist and the amount of Agera models for sale. There is actually only three (not five) for sale at the moment(one is seemingly advertised by two different dealers). One of those cars is owned by a Koenigsegg dealer, who bought the car new in order to sell it. Out of 25 or so Agera line of cars built so far, this is very normal and is actually less cars on the pre-owned market than many of our competitors, with similar production volumes. The pre-owned Agera sales that has gone through the factory or the deals that we are aware of have all been sold at higher than when new values, which is very niceJ

Finally, normally we don’t speak about our customers. However, as BC has chosen to be public at this forum, I think he should be fine with us relaying that we got very positive feedback from him after driving the Artico.

I hope this clarifies most of the unanswered questions in this thread.

Thanks Jens for clarifying everything about the Agera and its status. But this actually leaves me wondering why BC was, sorry for mentioning it, so unhappy with his car. On this forum, public and "off the record" we all speculated it to be because of the airbag situation. If this wasnt the problem then what happened?

We are not aware that BC was unhappy with the car. He told us he liked driving it and I think we all love the look of it. BC has very good taste:)

For all we know, he sold the car because he got a really good offer that he could not refuse. We also believe he accept the good offer because he was done waiting.

We had hoped to be done with US registration of the Artico during last summer, but it dragged out in time and could only have been finished about now, if we would have keept at the frenetic pace we were at, for as long as it was relevant. There is a lot of other paperwork and tests than Smart Airbags....

We feel we are on good terms and one day we are hoping to get him into a new Koenigsegg!

I am positive BC agrees and therefore we hope the speculation can stop and we can move on to more exiting subjects.

Ok, so by the time BC got it the paperwork wasnt ready? I must have misunderstod your first post then. You wrote that all 2012 cars were US approved, but what you ment was that they are NOW US approved and not at the time BC got his?

Thanks once again for verifying what happened. I sure hope he eventually will start missing hs old Artico and order another one, matte white, high gloss clear carbon and with the 1400 hp One:1-engine ( That car Jens is another story you must tell us about sometime... )!

Thank you for the clarification Jens. I never thought it was the cars in the first place. Glad to see the immense effort to get the Koenigseggs into the U.S, and I look forward to the second Agera entering the United States.

Just curious, what do you think that is geared towards. Those mother fvckers, all I told them is just leave my name out of it, don't fvckin put words in my mouth. I know I have good taste, don't patronize me. I don't lie, and I know CVK has no problem telling lies, but he has the balls to tell lies for me, when he has fvcked me over this past 2 years during my tenure with the car, or perhaps I'll give him the last benefit of the doubt that he was not aware of the comments made on here earlier....yea..right

Sorry Christian, again, you did this to yourself again. And for once be a big boy and clean up your own mess for once, and not let other people do it for you, you know in your heart how much shit I have covered for you this past 2 years. You and I both know that what was agreed upon does not include me making any sorts of public statements for you that I do not believe in myself and just outright lies, period. You didn't pay me enough, sorry.

I have honored the agreement between CVK and I, and I have not made any public comments on this matter, besides what was agreed upon. Now please, follow through and honor what you tell people/you and others agreed upon at least one time. I don't consider my comment here any ways out of line, you break the agreement you made with me first, so as far as I am consider all bets are off, no more courtesy gesture from me even one tiny bit. And again, its not like you have shown me any of those good will before anyways.

Oh and lastly, why haven't u sherlocks picked up the facts that I haven't said anything good about the car, the person himself, or the company which he still claims he owns the majority but that is also just another lie...or shall we say on here FAR FROM IT!

And "BC has chosen to be public on this forum"??! Is that a fkn joke?? This is a public forum first of all, second What the fvck do you mean I have chose to be public on this forum? Please..GTFO

It is a bit sad...

Wow. Where's all the hate coming from?
Theres always been there, but its not hate here, I am just trying to let the truth comes out to the public, for the first time. The car enthusiasts and the automotive world deserve to know, and he deserves it too. Christian has gotten away with this countless of times, but they were all buried; not this time, you fvcked with the wrong guy. Christian basically had to pay me to shut me up, I sold the car because I got an offer i couldn't refuse..back to him. Which is the reason why I've all this time never made any public comments regarding anything...

I was just going to let it go about this thread when I moved this thread to the admin section after those lies were made about what I said, but not now. Especially after the ENZO is appreciating like crazy, at the time I signed my contract and put the deposit down almost 2 years ago, I was deciding between this shitbox and the Enzo. I would of have an Enzo today instead I had to deal with countless headaches and mistreatment and their lack of sincerity to make things right and just lies and more lies.

When I've all this time the past year kept quiet about anything when asked about my car....every promise he has made to me, have turned out to be lie...
