So i have posted a few times about want I want to get for my first sports car purchase and toyed with the idea of a daily driver cause i live in the snowbelt. but considering that I currently have a decent enough daily in the chevy that I drive and after much research of different vehicles. My quest is ending simply with finding out and educating myself as much as possible on the Acura NSX. my budget is capped at finding one at $30k and below. not an ideal point but very doable. Any and all info from fellow 4 members who have owned this vehicle or know someone who has is welcome.

Maybe so, but thats one reason why I started this thread, I'll never know unless I can discover as much as I can about it. If it falls through that I cant foot the bill, thank god for so many other awesome options :D

G37s would be mint, but I'd have to do something wicked :D
335/M3 too many on the road around here :eek:hwell:
A4, ehh ho hum ^
A5, not enough power and too heavy
Benz C-Class is intriguing, I've only seen a couple done up locally.

GREAT car. It was my first 2nd car, and I pined for it for a LONG time. I kept it for a long time too. Id be surprised if I die without owning another one.

I'd wait a bit more and get an Na2, there are some 97 Nsx's @ 38K with good miles, they look great and still have respectable numbers (0-60 = 4.6, 12.9 1/4, stock) ... even @ this crazy era of Saloons @ 500HP those numbers are acceptable, on top of that, with a proper suspension and exhaust, you can turn that car into a much precise machine, it''s really a JOY to drive.

I drove SC nsx this week, MY LORD, what a beast, next year I am so supercharging mine, if you consider that in pretty much "stock form" you can "hang" with the big boys (minus anything over 500HP) ... going FI on a chassis like the NSX is just awesome (and still under 55K)

haha, yeah... 93 black on black 5 speed with 7400 miles on it... i am in the process of getting the guy to trade me the car for a piece of land. i actually talked to him a few days ago, but i wasn't going to post anything on here until i had the car...

I have been looking into them, because when i get this one, i am going to sell it. I figured i would drive it too much, so i was going to sell it and try to get a newer model with more miles (maybe a targa)..

Thanks for the heads up, I am willing to look at NSX's up to $35k but would prefer to stay lower. high mileage isn't all that scary to me considering its history of reliability. aftermarket goodies I would want are probably wheels, and probably a head light/front bumper conversion
