Thinking of getting one this week... confused about all of the iterations of it.. I want the inhouse movement right?

That or the Pam 193 ( I know stupid and impractical)

The 233 has an in-house mov't. Their 1st one ever.

Love my 233. There was a change on the AM/PM indicator with the L series. Seems that the older version is more popular, but I think it's important for you to know this so you can decide yourself. In house certainly has an appeal, but I prefer it's other features such as 8 day reserve (really 10 days), GMT, sandwich dial, 1950 case with domed crystal, quick change strap system. Oh, I thought you said only 1 watch per year!! JK.
