Back in November, I bought my 2015 Jeep SRT. I've washed it as much I can, didn't take it off roading etc. However I've noticed along the back wheel well, and even on the front, there is some sort of whitish/greyish black spray. I've cleaned, and scrubbed and can't get it out. Is this something that can be fixed ? or does it have to be re-spray painted ?

Thanks.

Clay,
stoners tarminator,
light polishing,
a wax with chemical cleaners in it

If you are in orange county, swing it by my place and Ill take a look at it for you. Hard to see what it is. is it raised and you can feel it, or is it all chipped up and flat/indented? if its missing paint, then obviously repaint. If its on the surface of the paint, then claying, polishing, waxing would be the route to take

It got a bit of detailing yesterday, while I will say it got off around 80%, there is still lot, mostly spread out you can't notice it unless you get close up. Between the door just on the corner of the fender its really bad, feels rough to thinking it might need to be replaced.

Thanks for the offer, but I live across the border.

Asphalt residue from driving in the rain of a freshly paved road possibly? Car Pro trix does a great job and smells horrible. Wear gloves or your hands will smell like it for days. It will dissolve tar and iron pretty easily though.

Its not a residue or anything that can be "scrubbed" off. I have a 2014 Grand Cherokee and that area is flared out. Its rock chips peppering the truck

Is it rough or not? because if its not removed from cleaning and polishing, then it can be a possible paint problem

Around the fender by the door its ruff and needs to be replaced, I think the rest is chipped and needs to be repainted.

Repainting that thing isnt gonna help because if you spray a coat of paint over it, itll look pitted. Your actually gonna have to take that to a body shop and do body work on that area and then get it repainted. If that's too much then I would just buy some touch up paint. Rock chips of that kind is from the result of you doing burn outs on gravel.

The only way to fix it, is I have to have it repainted. I called chrysler they told me it was my fault  ahhh. I called a lawyer who called the dealer several times never called back, so now I have to decide if I wanna go to small claims court. :eek:hwell:
