The long awaited BMW M2 is FINALLY here. After living off crumbs of information for months, BMW has released the details of the coveted model.

Powering the all-new M2 is a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline-six, which equates to 370 horsepower and 343 lb-ft of torque. With the optional seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission, the M2 can pace from 0 to 62mph in 4.3 seconds, with a top speed of 155mph. To reign some of that power in, Active M Differential, M electronic steering and M compound brakes are all included in the M2.

Inside there’s a mix of carbon fiber and Alcantara along with a M badging and parts, including an M steering wheel and gearshift lever.

The 1 Series M Coupe was insanely popular and the M2 is looking like it’ll receive the same fanfare. BMW stirred up a lot of hype as enthusiasts patiently awaited the M2, and it seems like it’ll be worth the wait.
