Right. What Im starting with is a general list of all printing options where we will place their brand. From there we will structure the different levels and include (non-print) benefits as well.

What are we exactly placing within the gold gift boxes for potential sponsors?
Also, please set up your list of potential / targeted sponsors so we can all see and add to the mix as well.

An Idea occurred to me in regards to our sponsorship benefits.
I know that were not completely sure what were doing with video at the moment but I personally don't see the need to compile / produce another DVD for 2011. What I do see us doing is getting together with a video production company and doing the following.

1. Establish our own youtube channel. (which I created already - http://www.youtube.com/user/goldRushRallyTV )
2. Create 2 - 3 minute episodes on a daily basis throughout the rally and showcase city departures, arrival, participant interviews, etc...
3. These small clips will be edited and uploaded into out youtube channel on a daily basis for viral immediate exposure of the rally.
4. Sponsors: They come into play here because at the beginning of the video/clip we wil advertise their brand within the video as well as a direct link to their site from the description, maybe even their own commercial. "This gR3 video clip is brought to you by ___________"

We need to start deciding on these things asap and compile the entire sponsorship benefits. We need to focus on viral things like these as this is far more important to the companies.

Aimee and I are working on an introductory letter that will get sent out to potential or desired sponsors. This will be followed by establishing a meeting and covering all details behind the sponsorship.

Keep in mind that for these meetings happen we should have all rally details pretty much figured out.

I like/agree with the idea for the video...but with that being said, it doesn't mean we can't come out with a DVD after the end of the rally even doing all the new video stuff you mention..?

I think DVD is always going to be a good source of revenue for the rally....
