Sup, eveyone,

The Greatone here keeping you all posted from the gatorun. It's now 8:54 am, and I'm in 360 Forged Mercedes with Migs. We're headed to the starting location to talk about the race, have breakfast, and sticker up the cars. Wait till you all see the L4P sticker. Its looks sweet in a Miami Vice kinda way.

I'm posting this all from my new Google G1, so it should be pretty easy to keep you all up to date on the event. For those missing out on this, I'm sorry, because this run is going to be nuts!

If anyone wants to chit chat during the race, you can IM from google gtalk. My screen name is 360Photographer.

Also keep your eyes out for tons of photos from the run.

Wish us all all luck, and a safe trip. *4 fingers up*

This is what the links says...
SEMINOLE COUNTY, Fla. (WOFL FOX 35, Orlando) -- Flashing lights and a slue of fancy cars brought traffic to a screeching halt on I-4 Sunday. Deputies say Gatorun drivers were making the roads unsafe. "Maitland and FHP both received calls about a group of street racers running down I-4 both North and South," said Commander Stonebreaker.

At least a dozen cars were pulled over. Three drivers were handcuffed. Commander Stonebreaker says they were all participating in a road rally know as the Gatorun. "Our helicopter picked them up southbound on I-4 well in excess of the speed limit and witnesses some very dangerous behavior."

According to the events website, The Gatorun is a group of 50 drivers with exotic cars. The run starts in Miami and comes to Orlando for a night of partying. Each car has a number. While they're marked like race cars the Gatorun website clearly states “The Gatorun is NOT a race. You must NOT compete in any manner with other participants. You must NOT place any bets of any kind. You must drive safely and with proper courtesy. In particular you must not drive recklessly."

But Commander Stonebreaker says the folks they pulled over were speeding, driving recklessly. And he says a passenger in one of the cars was hanging of a sunroof using a video camera to shoot footage of the rest of the drivers. "They indicate this is acceptable behavior where they come from. We've tried to convince them this is not acceptable behavior here in Orange County," said Commander Stonebreaker.

And to prove that this was not acceptable behavior, deputies wrote several tickets. The OCSO Public Information Officer on Duty was unable to confirm exactly what those Gatorun drivers were cited for.
