Passenger up pipe cut and welded up. Short and sweet :)

Time to start work on the Garrett air/water intercoolers. They are rated at 1000hp a piece.

Cutting the water end tank on the bandsaw before bending and welding

Hot side intercooler end tank cut

On the brake!

Fitting the side pieces and drilling the inlet holes

Hot side of the intercoolers done

This is hands down one of the best threads on L4P in a looooong time. From what I can tell in the pics, your fabrication/welding skills are impeccable. It is also very cool to see someone post a step by step process of what it looks like to build one of these TT set ups so we can truly appreciate the work you are putting in. I really appreciate these pics and will continue to view your thread.

Also doesn't hurt that your bikini competitor GF/wife/model is a dime.

Nice job man

Thanks for the support! I'm glad to hear there are people out there enjoying the progress pictures. A lot of time and hard work is going into this project :)
I'll be updating on a daily basis.

I am also taking time lapse video so hopefully when I'm all done, I can release a video of all the work that was done.

Stock internals. I plan on pushing around 600-650 whp on pump gas. I have heard of people pushing around 1000 WHP on the stock internals.

With race gas, I can run a lot more boost but i'm not sure how far I will be pushing it yet.
that's realistic.

it has the ability to produce 1kwhp, but there is no way in hell that it's going to be reliable.

Thanks for sharing the pics, this build is awesome!

Just out of curiosity (I only know basic things about turbos), did you build an exhaust manifold, or are you using the stock headers & exhaust pipe? From the pic it kind of looks like its the stock pipe that's why I ask. I'm used to seeing a lot of turbo'd 4 cyl. engines with fancy exhaust manifolds, and it never crossed my mind to that you can use a stock manifold and just redirecting the exhaust pipe to the turbo.(as long it has good flow??!!)

Anyway, thanks for posting, can't wait to see more!

I did not build an exhaust manifold. I am using the stock headers. I am changing the cat out to a test pipe after I have everything else fabricated. As far as I know, all the TT Gallardo kits are currently using the stock exhaust manifold. They seem to flow well enough to make 1500+ WHP..
