I know a lot of people from L4P love the Gwagen and I'm very close to importing a white G55 into Canada so I thought a Gclass picture thread would be cool!

I ran 285's on my last G500....

Going with a 50mm lift and 33x12.50's on the one I have now...
Your old truck looks good. Did you have to adjust for the larger tire size with the S.T.A.R. computer?. I want to do pretty much the same to my '02 that your doing on your new truck, but I'll probably stick to a 10.50" width so I can run the stock wheels.

Not sure. They look smaller than a 20", and I've never seen anyone running 35's on a Gwagen without trimming the lower portion of the fender flare (in front of the tire). So 18s and 33s sounds about right.

EDIT - upon further review, those may very well be 20s. I cant make out the tire size from the close up pic of the tire, but it certainly looks like it ends in 20.

They are 20's...got some zooming done on it and the tire is a 325/60/20.

I didn't adjust STAR. I will warn you, the gas mileage is UNBELIEVABLE once you go bigger.

I am going to aim for 295/70/18, which is a 34.7. And keep the OEM wheels.

Any where to pick up a bigger lift, than the 30mm?

Like I said in my PM, see what Karl says about that 50mm lift. If money is no object you could also look at ORC springs.

Yeah, a Gwagen on mog portal axles is pretty badass.

In Ontario they don't care about changing over the speedometer. I have registered 2 European cars imported from the U.S. without making the change. The inspection shop will usually just give you a set of conversion stickers to put on the plexi over the original.... Just throw it out once your registered. You may have the same luck in Vancouver?

I thought it was cool too. Much better than some dime-a-dozen F150 or Mustang. She already says my truck is hers, so now we'll have matching trucks.

Very cool. I prefer subdued colors on my own vehicles. I always seem to stick with white, silver or black, but I like seeing these trucks in bold colors...reds, blues, and greens are cool.

A few photos of my Brabus 5.8 taken by Ronnie Renaldi recently. Incredible truck! Enjoy...
I would love more info on your truck. That is awesome.
