BluE46 and Maverick1st,

Here is some info I have found on Canadian G-class pricing.

2011 G55 MSRP $155900
$1995 freight
$120 tire, battery, and a/c levy
fuel levy $4000
Total $162,015 + tax:(

I just found a nice 2009 G55 thats $100,000USD. This would be my import costs:

duty $6,100
A/C $100
Shipping $1250
Speedo $3000
Fuel Levy $4000
brokerage $500
Total is about $115,000 CDN + tax:)

It doesn't make sense to buy a new G-class in Canada so I will probably import one from the US!!

Amazing, thanks for running the numbers.

Savings of around 50k after taxes. Big difference.

Is the warranty transferrable to Canada?

^ Love the AMG embossed cross stitched interior. The black with wood looks horribly dated IMO.

One MUST GET add-on is the Jump Seats

Yes the warranty is transferable as long as you get the speedo conversion done by a Mercedes Canada dealer!

How do these G's ride with 24" wheels?

Love the look of that Platinum G-Murder Edition!

Thats great news! I was worried 24's would be to big and make a hard ride, always good to hear a owner/drivers opinion. I also really like the LED lights below the main headlights, It really updates the look of the G. Keep up the good work!!

^ very cool! I like the off road tires on that G and it's cool to see it flexing a bit.
