Hello L4Pers. I just wanted to share with YUNZ a project that i have been working on for the past few weeks. There is over 200+ hours of engraving time put into this "One of a Kind" piece. Hope you enjoy the pics as well as the piece.

Introducing the first product from a new venture that combines the talents of two fellow L4Pers and puts it to good use in a Motor Sports based product. This helmet represents the first of many innovative products that take my engraving art/talent/ and ideas to a unique new level that is functional and still pleasing to the eye.

We took some themes that were important to both of us and dedicated this helmet to the people, vehicles, and organizations that we are passionate about. The result is a helmet which is a tribute to L4P, the Nissan GTR, and Racing Prodigy Michael Ramies, who i would love to have wear this Helmet in his quest to destroy records on circuits across the country and eventually the world. Hopefully doing so in the soon to be revealed race prepped L4P GTR. :D

This helmet is fcuking sick!!!!
Thanks Che-Man. Notice i put the L4P Reppin hand on both sides of the helmet.....Just like the piece that i made for you. :D L4P 4TMFW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That's insane...but I wonder how/if it compromises the safety / rigidity / intended purpose of the helmet...
Same here. I know a lot of people are wondering the same thing about the Helmet. Safety is very important.

I am proud to say that I pushed Shawn into doing this helmet (though thats pretty much the only credit I can claim). At first it was a real struggle as doing his art on a concave surface was not easy and required a lot of adaptation. I spent a week with Shawn and we spent a lot of time talking about his art and the result of this discussion was this helmet. We then spent hours on the phone as the project progressed and his apprehension turned into enthsiasm as he adapted to the new medium and got really excite about the process.

I believe that Shawn will do great things and just over the past few days some amazing things have happened that will hopefully keep him very busy over the next few months. I have absolutely no idea how he does what he does, but I am very happy to do whatever small thing can to make sure that an ever increasing amount of people can enjoy his art.

There are many themes built into this Helmet but its main purpose is to display what can be done with a dremel, a few hundred hours, and a very talented man with double vision. I can not wait to see what is next, but until then this helmet will hopefully be on the head of our wery own L4P young stig (MMR) while he crushes some records in the latest evolution of the SSP/ZCG GTR!

While the physical helmet is mine it does NOT belong to me. I want all of L4P to get a chance to enjoy the helmet and hopeflly many will get a chance to see it up close. This piece of art is not going to sit on a mantle in a glass case, but be used and enjoyed out in the real world.

I can't say it enough Shawn, that you so much, you have unbelievable talent!

A peice of thie detail and calibre is going to cost more than 1k... 200 hrs of work at least went into this baby. $5 an hr is a bit low. But, this helmet is probably a bit more extreme than we would make one if cost were the issue... this peice was made simply to ask "what if" ... what if we used a helmet, what if we integrated many cool themes, what if the entire helmet was filled in. It is always tough to put a dollar value on art especially if it is a new form that no one else does. Only time will tell what people will want to/be willing to pay for a badass peice of unique functional art like this baby! No matter what I am so glad we embarked on this journey and I am positive that it will catch on in one way or another.
